*Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Walk from Payson’s Park around Back Cove in Portland. This walk raises money for research and treatments for CF. This disease is NOT funded by the Federal Government. So, only through these local walks is money used to fight this lung disease.
The walk is the 3rd Saturday in May and this year we raise almost $5000 for CF; the best year ever!!

This fun activity saves lives every day. We need volunteers and we need help fund raising. Reach out to any member of the Outreach team (see below) or fill out the form below.
*World Vision-We use World Vision to buy animals for needy families in the 3rd world. We do this when a birthday or anniversary falls on the same day as worship. We take a collection and buy a goat. We also watch for notices asking for more help, like the famine in Africa.
*Samaritan’s Purse: Operation Christmas Child (OCC)-Every year for 10 years, we have filled shoe boxes for the poorest kids in the world. These kids have nothing for Christmas if this wasn’t done. (and it is done in the name of our Lord Jesus). Final drop off is November 19th. This year since the price of the shipping has gone up, Outreach will pay for the shipping. NEW this year, we are joining Christian Ed to have a fill the boxes night in November during Kids Night Out.
*Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF)-This ministry fly’s emergency supplies to remote areas where trucks can’t get to and dangerous areas where a drop is needed. HOM has construction teams, Medical teams and Vacation Bible School teams (summer only) in the heart of Port Au Prince, Haiti (the poorest nation this side of the equator).
